“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I had a pretty good work week this week – got a lot done! And my parents are in town so that makes everything sweet.
Sour: My parents’ flight was delayed 3 times last night, which meant I didn’t get to see them at all. Had they arrived on time, I still would have only seen them for about an hour, but during a short trip (and especially when I have to go to work today) every hour counts.
