“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I got to go to a favorite restaurant for supper on Monday. Our waiter seemed to be stoned out of his mind, which was a little annoying but also very entertaining.
Sour: This week we officially found out that one of the groomsmen in our wedding, who was also co-officiating, will be unable to attend. I can’t be upset because it’s due to forces outside any of our control, and it makes the most sense for him to stay home. That doesn’t mean it bums me out any less.
