Sometimes I think there’s a place you’ve just got to know about and my Public Service Announcements (PSAs) will give you the full skinny.
All of a sudden I’m seeing this Flying Tiger store all around Manhattan. Â This Danish home goods store sells knick knacks in a bright, organized environment. Â Like fellow Scandinavian store, Ikea, you walk through a clearly defined and winding path. Â Also like Ikea, things are DIRT CHEAP.
Have you ever wanted to be that person who creates an entirely new tablescape for every dinner party? Â This store is how you make that happen. Â When you can buy two candles for $1, a vase for $4, and a carafe for $2, you can develop an elaborate party scene for very little money.
They get tons of new products every single month and every product is put in store with a sense of fun in mind. Â Imagine an entire store that’s the Target $1 section. Â Except you can find way more than just cheap notebooks. Â Just like that section, you’ll find it hard to walk out of this store without having spent at least $15 on nonsense. Â Here, you can also get bigger items like a small skateboard or mini air hockey set. Â Of course you don’t need any of it, but when almost everything is well under $20, you can’t help yourself.
