This week has been a fun one. I had been disappointed with how my routine was falling off track so I’ve made sure to make my bed first thing, plan workouts, and cool up some tasty meals. I met up with an old co-worker in Monday, got wrapped up in Halloween festivities on Wednesday, am meeting up with friends tonight, and have a full weekend of fun plans. In between it all, I’ve been keeping up with my industry so I don’t get rusty.
My beau was taking clients to the Nets game on Sunday and had an extra ticket so I tagged along. It was the perfect way to close out the weekend and the best part is that the game was over before 7:30, which means we got to have a fun evening AND still had time to get back to Manhattan, decompress, and get a good night’s sleep.
A lot of people in our neighborhood went all out with Halloween decorations. I love seeing people embrace the fun of the holiday! This townhouse wasn’t the craziest one, but it’s one of my faves.
The weather this week has been gorgeous. It’s the best of both worlds: you get to see the leaves changing without being all bundled up. Knowing it won’t last, there was no way I could do my run on the treadmill. I logged about 3.5 miles around my neighborhood and got to take in beautiful views like this skyline, juxtaposed against lush Morningside Park.
