What a crazy busy week. I hung out with a friend on Monday, had a work dinner on Wednesday, a work Halloween party tonight, and I leave on a work trip tomorrow afternoon. Thank goodness I had Taco Tuesday to keep me sane!

On Monday, Rebekah and I tried out a new pilates studio, called Wundabar. The studio itself is pretty bare bones – it’s one room with neither dressing nor waiting area. But that’s because, much like the class itself, it’s straight to business. The class is 45 minutes, so it’s a bit shorter than most reformer classes, but I honestly felt I got a better workout in less time thanks to few and simple transitions and little chit chat. I definitely felt the burn and since it’s so close to my office, I’ll probably go again.

We spent much of the weekend in Connecticut for Mikey’s baptism. The best part was going up late Saturday afternoon to spend some time with Steph and Smerg, chatting and watching the Notre Dame game. We don’t often get to just hang with them. And to top it off, we got to be a part of such a special moment in their lives.

Like I mentioned above, Taco Tuesday was really keeping me sane. It was the first home cooked meal since last Wednesday and will be the last til Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. The tacos were simple (ground turkey, sautéed onions, salsa, and queso fresco), but they hit the spot.
