This might be one of my shortest restaurant reviews ever. Mr. Taka, a Japanese import ramen shop, has good ramen – not the most amazing, but very good. The ramen goes from good to very good when the spicy paste is added. But that’s not the only necessary addition. To take it from very good to great, make sure you spend an extra $2 to add an egg. It was hands down the absolute best egg I’ve ever had in ramen. I don’t know what they did to get the yolk so jammy and flavorful, but it was perfect. Get the ramen just for the egg.
