Ground Turkey Greek Tacos

After going traditional for the last couple months, I decided it was time to switch it up for Taco Tuesday. Unlike other times I’ve gone funky, I wanted to keep things simple…like simpler than a regular Taco Tuesday. The easiest way to change things up is to switch the spices and the type of cheese and/or a simple sauce. So that’s just what I did.

Brown ground turkey with kabob seasoning, some salt, and a bit of water. (This is the seasoning I used, in case you want to check out the blend and replicate.) For the main topping, I made a quick tzaziki with Greek yogurt, garlic powder, dried dill, chopped cucumber, and salt. I also served with feta, chopped tomato, and julienned bell pepper for some crunch.

Because you’re using ground meat and a tortilla, this still feels very much like a taco. If you switched to flatbread and chicken, for instance, it would just feel like a standard Greek street food. This way, you’ve got a lil fusion action goin on.
