Sweet: I started a new job this week! Even better than having a full time gig, I have a gig that I’m truly excited about.
Sour: Because the CEO of our company was in town, we had a happy hour. Since it was my first day on the job, I felt like I couldn’t dip out and had to participate in the drinking, which left me feeling a bit disappointed in myself for breaking my alcohol detox. On the bright side, I didn’t get supper so I feel like the calories cancelled each other out. And I still managed to wake up early and take a Peloton class the following morning so my fitness journey isn’t entirely derailed.
