It’s been two full weeks since my last post, but I have a good reason. I was on vacation then away for a wedding and then went back to work. Maternity leave absolutely flew by and it’s definitely an adjustment being back, but I’m excited to get back to a routine. One thing’s certain: I am LOVING the hybrid office/WFH structure. Logistics are a real biatch…without working from home did people just never workout once they had kids?

Finn had his first trip to Savannah and I loved seeing him with my family. As an NYC winter baby he was a bit weirded out by the sun, but I could see him quickly getting into it. He fit right in on the dock.

My bestie got married! Of course, I wish my beau could have joined, but someone needed to stay home with the bambino. I also have to admit that it was nice being away with nary a care in the world as a last hurrah before returning to work. It was so much fun hanging with some of my closest friends from college and the wedding was absolutely lovely. It was also probably one of the best seated dinner meals I’ve ever had at a wedding.

As always, we had to have lunch at Zunzi’s while we were in Savannah. It was as good as ever, but this time I tried some new items (their version of nachos and the bloody mary) in addition to my conquistador and both were fantastic.
